Katrina is a devastating category 5 hurricane that hit the Gulf Coast. Overall the storm caused 1833 people to lose their life. I was born shortly before the hurricane occurred, and my parents tell me they are glad they eventually chose not to name me Katrina, which was one of their top name choices, or people would think of a massive hurricane when they heard my name.Added to timeline:
