Description:
At the time, Massachusetts was the main focus if Englands attacks. In 1769, the Southern Colonies met and stood in support of Massachusetts. The Southern Colonies were teh homes of many plantations and subseqently were a large part of teh colonies economy. This motivated the Southern Colonies to stand with Massachusetts against the taxes as tehy were trying to preserve their economic benefits. This also marked the start of a unity among the colonies.
