Description:

Cortes arrives in Mexico with 11 ships and 500 men. In addition to looking for riches, Cortes was interested in converting native people to Christianity. He arrives in the Aztec capital of Tenochtitlan in 1519. He sacks the city and takes their leader Montezuma hostage.
