Thumriel is tasked to deploy for the first time, tasked with the assassination of Phillipa Dawnlight. He sets out for her warcamp while unbeknownst to him, the Red Lords deploy a small army to follow in his steps, carrying the order to storm the warcamp while Thumriel is still inside, killing everyone in brutal ways to show the young man the horrors of war. (To break his spirit and unwillingness to submit to their cruel beliefs). Thumriel is scarred by their atrocious acts, which serve as the final push he needs to attempt his escape with his Mentor.
