Description:
Arabs arrived in Tunisia and they made Qayrawan (Kairouan) as their capital. Qayrawan was a city full of goods and slaves and it became a major and important town and also a center of learning and culture. This city was also made as the base of Arabs and the mosque was built here, ordered by Uqba' ibn Nafi meanwhile during 5 years of Uqba's time in Tunisia, he also fouded dar imara or government house. Uqba' and his armies did not face any resistance from the Byzantines when entering this region.
