He fakes an injury to gain entry to the house. First, he hits Maria with an ashtray, then drowns Gladys in the upstairs bathtub. Then he forces Maria into a nurse uniform and stabs her in the back.Date of the LA Door's concert in 1968; their roommates had left for the evening to attend.
