feb 10, 1763 - Treaty of Paris: End of French Indian War
Description:
The French Indian War ends. The French Indian War was one part of the Seven Year's War fought between England and France.
The French Indian War was fought between the English and Colonists on one side and the French and Indians on the other side. They were fighting because the Colonists wanted more land to the West and North but the French and Indians were already there.
George Washington started the war by attacking a fort in the Ohio Valley that he wasn't suppose to attack.
At the end of the war the English were massively in debt. The King decided that the solution to this was to tax the colonists.
