After Dwon leaves and they get their asses beat, Gustav said they never stood a chance, and none of them have enough soul energy. Menzu is technical and speed based, Tenseh is power, strength and trap based, Judan is a long distance, trump card/sneak attack and Jared is surprise based, and Sheros is a final final move. They can work well together but they need someone with raw energy alone who can do serious damage. He says he knows the perfect person.

He explains who Sheros Gladarri is and why he wants to defeat The Master Race badly. His parents were part of Joykillers and they both died. He wants to take revenge, and fine their remaining team mates to see what they were like because he never got to know them. He was born with half a soul, and was born at a similar time to Sheros' death. Sheros was also a member of Joykillers, and so one of the members binded half of Sheros' soul to his soul. This was before his parents died. They begged her to because Gustav was dying. She agreed and by binding their souls together, when the barrier, which is currently his glasses, are taken off, Sheros is released and when his glasses are put back on, Sheros is sealed and Gustav is back in control. They aren't used to each other yet, so Gustav doesn't like taking him out or talking to him.
