At 2:49 pm near the end of the race 12 cooker bombs went of 12 seconds and 210 yards apart. The bomb killed 3 people, injured hundreds and 16 people who lost limbs from the explosion. The men who set of the bombs where Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and Tamerlan Tsarnaev . Tamerlan died from a gun shot wound and his brother was sentced to death.Added to timeline:
