Description:

He was an English chemist, born in 1766 in the U.K., died in 1844 in the U.K. He proposed the first modern description of the atom, that Elements are composed of atoms, atoms of an element are identical, atoms of different elements are different in size and mass, compounds are made of defined ratios of combinations of atoms, chemical reactions caused the rearrangement of those atoms. As a result of Dalton’s research of gases, he came up with his atomic theory. Facts- Dalton kept a daily journal of the weather and he came up with Dalton’s Law of Partial Pressure.
