The plague first shows up in china in the mid-1800’s. During the 1890’s there was a massive mortality in south east Asia.
Although this plague was terrible, This reemergence lead to many advancements of medical technology.
It was discovered that there are three different forms of this plague; Bubonic, Pneumonic and septicemic
Bubonic Plague was caused by infected fleas and affects the skin and Lymph-nodes causing Boboes to form. The symptoms included High Fever, headache, chills, body ache and swollen nodes
Pneumonic Plague was caused by breathing in bacteria, it mainly affected the lungs 90% mortality rate. The symptoms included sudden pneumonia, bloody and watery mucus, and respiratory failure.
Septicemic plague was caused by infected fleas and affected the blood vessels organs. it had a 100% mortality rate
