dec 9, 1916 - ID 5, The Great Migration
Description:
This was when six million African Americans were transported from the southern states into more areas around the U.S. This migration gave slaves a better life than they already had, and it also started some of the original black rights movements. Racial discrimination became more obvious to the citizens of the U.S and eventually lead to change.
