jul 17, 1945 - Potsdam Conference

Description:

The Big 3 meet once more, however this time with changes to leadership. Harry Truman resumes discussions over the US, replacing Roosevelt, as well as Clement Atlee replacing Churchill midway throughout. As talks continued, topics discussed consisted of:

- Similar 'unconditional surrender' faced by Germany for Japan.
- A Council of Foreign Ministers and an Allied Control Council for Germany.
- Postwar Europe
- The development of the German economy, in areas such as agriculture and non-military industries.

Furthermore, some people believe that the Potsdam Conference was postponed by US President Harry Truman, in order to make developments in Nuclear Warfare, which was to be used as leverage against Stalin in negotiations.
