Description:

During this time the Spanish tried to explain that the Africans in custody were slaves being sent to their sugar plantations in Cuba. This causes a court case to break out in Hartford, Connecticut Since Spain, Britain, and the U.S. agreed on outlawing the slave trade in 1807.
