Description:
A French Biologist. He was asked by a brewery in France to come and see why their vats of alcohol would go back. He looked under a microscope and compared the good and bad wine. He found that good wine had only yeast - or big cells. And bad wine had yeast and bacteria - big and small cells.
Accomplishments: He created the first vaccines for Anthrax and Rabies. He disproved spontaneous generation theory. He reduced mortality rates for child bed fever. He created the process of pasteurization. He gave support for the germination theory through his fermination experiments with chicken broth.
