The most famous anatomy drawing that Leonardo da Vinci made was the Vitruvian man made in 1487, it is the famous drawing of a man with his arms and legs outstretched to the edges of a square in a circle. However, he had started learning anatomy when he got an apprenticeship with Andrea del Verrocchio, and after this apprenticeship he drew depictions of muscles, tendons, and other features of the human body.
