jan 1, 1487 - Practices in Anatomy
Description:
The most famous anatomy drawing that Leonardo da Vinci made was the Vitruvian man made in 1487, it is the famous drawing of a man with his arms and legs outstretched to the edges of a square in a circle. However, he had started learning anatomy when he got an apprenticeship with Andrea del Verrocchio, and after this apprenticeship he drew depictions of muscles, tendons, and other features of the human body. Later in 1506, he dissected a 100-year-old man, and he started collecting human skulls and corpses to dissect. This helped further our knowledge of anatomy.
