1965 April 4th
Everyone has forgotten where and how exactly it started, but a note with a fairy tale altered to a threat arrived in town. People wrote it off as a prank done by one of the teens though some were suspicious.
The next day the first murder aftermath was found.
Several members of the teams are involved in the investigation and it’s not until the end of April when the murders stop, that they finally manage to put the pieces together.
Or rather, a couple of kids did. (The old gang back than)
A group of members learn that the culprit was actually their leader, who had somehow gone insane and wants to use the research from a while ago to use it for throwing the world into chaos. When they learn their leader wants to start with Matthew and the others, who were 10 at the time, they immediately jump into action.
They aren’t able to kill them, but they are able to at least make sure she was driven out of town and couldn’t ever access the research again. However, because their leader is not dead, the members are all well aware of how dangerous they have become now that they no longer have any sanity. Before they were just as dangerous, but at the very least they were on the members side. (Like the type of hero and good guy you wouldn’t want to turn on society or something EX: All might from MHA or Deku with his intelligence.) That is where the caution and paranoia started from.
