on the 2nd of October 1925 Scottish inventor john logie bird would achive the firsts successful broadcast of a black and white image which was of the head of a ventriloquist dummy head (as seen above) however the tv itself had been in the making reportedly since 1902 the reason i believe that the first transmission is more important to focus on is because this was very much the birth of the television industry as we know it today and this is a key milestone as it creates a howl new form of entertainment for the general public as this invention would later come to crush the radio as peoples primary source of entertainment and revising news.
