oct 11, 1999 - ~30 ft fall from scaffold

Description:

Before Nick turned 1, I was working construction with a buddy of mine. We were working abt 30 ft up and I stepped on a plank that wasn't secured. I fell, landed on my feet and rolled onto my back onto a pallet of rebar. The plank fell and broke a hole through my skull, into the sinus cavity above my left eye. The surgeon covered the hole with a metal plate and a scar runs through my left eyebrow.
