~ Sam Adams led a resistance group called the "Sons of Liberty", with the sole purpose of ceasing any tea that would come ashore, from Britain.
~ A group of colonists dressed as Mohawk Indians went aboard a ship and dumped 342 chests of tea into the nearby harbor.
~ According to participant George Hews, “We were surrounded by British armed ships, but no attempt was made to resist us.”
