Description:
The ESEA is reauthorized by George W. Bush and referred to as the NCLB. It included many new provisions, including new standardized testing practices and the creation of Average Yearly Progress (AYP) in an attempt to increase accountability of schools. It also created the requirement for highly qualified teachers.
