Description:
 The ESEA was passed in 1965, Including Titles I-VI, signed into law by Lyndon B. Johnson. The most extensive education legislation ever passed by congress, it was a key piece of LBJ's "War on Poverty." It focused on equal access for all and created accountability for schools.
