As early as I remember, my parents had created the routine of reading a story before bed. During my early childhood, two of my favourite books were Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gained by Rowena Woods and Clarence Goes Out West and Meets a Purple Horse by Jean Ekman Adams. For me, reading became associated with family time. I would always ask for my parents to read me more and more books because I did not want to go to sleep.Added to timeline:
