jan 2, 1774 - The Intolerable Acts

Description:

The intolerable acts were (listed in chronological order); Closed the Boston harbor, placed Massachusetts’ government completely under Britain’s control, and the British soldiers that “murdered” the colonists during The Boston Massacre were to go through a trial in England, not the colonies. Colonists were outraged by this and caused the colonies to bond together against Britain, giving them a common enemy.
