jan 2, 1763 - Proclamation of 1763

Description:

The British had to make sure that the colonists and Indians didn’t fight as the colonists moved farther west into the American Indian territory. The Proclamation of 1763 was where King George “drew” a line along the Appalachian mountains. He told the settlers to stay to the east and the American Indians to stay to the west.
