Before the first Moroccan crisis, France made a secret deal with Britain: France will not interfere with Britain’s move on Egypt and in Exchange Britain would support France’s takeover of Morocco. Britain's support allowed France to gain control of Morocco, which angered Germany. This led to a world conference to decide who Morocco belonged to, and in the end France won, leaving Germany embarrassed and angry.
