may 10, 1773 - Tea Act
Description:
It was an Act passed by Parliament that allowed the British East India Company to hold a monopoly on tea. It was cheaper than the tea from before, but the Colonists didn't like the fact that many owners of the BEIC were members of Parliament, meaning they profit at the expense of the Colonists.
