Description:

The DVR is capable of recording video in several different formats including, disk drive, USB, SD memory card or other mass storage devices. This was a very significant invention because it represented a huge step forward from using tapes in a VHS player. Also it proved that CD's were more reliable, as they lasted longer, had better quality and were less breakable. This invention was very significant because it developed the use of video recording to other modern formats and allowed more people to view films in whichever way they wished. The DVR is still used today by many people who use disks, however it is slowly becoming less popular. This is because more people are using software's such as Netflix, amazon prime video or streaming films instead of buying a DVD.
