sep 1, 1764 - Currency Act
Description:
The British believed that colonies had caused for all the expenses and as they also believed in mercantilism, the British thought that the colonies would be a good market for exported goods. Thus, the colonists held a resentment as this made the previously mostly self-sufficient colonies depend on Britain. This dependence also caused for many safety and contractual concerns to arise.
