Placed meat in an uncovered jar, a jar with cheesecloth, and a jar with a cork. Maggots were on the open meat, they were near the meat that allowed for airflow with the cheesecloth, and were not present with the corked meat. This proved a new theory: biogenesis.Added to timeline:
