Description:

- Once establishing basic administration, Abu Abd Allah gathered an army to enter Sijilmasa where al-Mahdi was in hiding.

- Al-Mahdi immediately claimed title as the first Fatimid caliph.

- After entering Raqqadah, al-Mahdi's name was pronounced in the Friday prayers performed in Qayrawan and Raqqadah.
