Description:

- Idris II decided to move the seat of authority to Fez.

- Although Idris I had Shi'ite beliefs, the state founded by Idris II was Sunni in nature in regards to religious affairs.

- Fez became a prominent city of Islamic learning which attracted scholars from all around the globe.
