At last, the colonies began to unite. In 1774, about 50 leaders from the 12 colonies met to see as to what to do in protest. They wrote a letter to the British King saying that they deserved more rights. They also decided to Boycott British goods. Lastly, they decided to meet again if this didn't work.Added to timeline:
