mar 5, 1770 - The Boston Massacre
Description:
The day that the Townshend Acts were repealed, a fight broke out between the colonists and British soldiers. The colonists called it a massacre where it was really only a small riot. Bostonians had taunted the soldiers and one of them called, "hold your fire!" One of the soldiers heard "Fire!" and started shooting.
