mar 22, 1765 - The Stamp Act
Description:
One of the other problems that existed because of the French and Indian War was huge debts that the British had to pay off. Thus, they made the colonists pay by making them have to pay for a stamp on every single piece of paper. The colonists were fine with this but they didn't like the fact that they weren't represented in the British government. The colonists saw the British as a tyranny.
