mar 24, 1765 - The Quartering Act

Description:

The British Parliament decided that because the British were doing a service of sending soldiers to protect the colonists, the colonists had to give something in return. That something was the colonists' houses. The Quartering Act required all colonists to house and feed any British soldier that wanted to be housed and fed. This act was also met with lots of protests.
