jan 8, 2002 - No Child Left Behind Act
Description:
The No Child Left Behind Act was passed in order to require states to report the scores of students to the federal government. However, this proved to be a very costly process, and the federal government left the states to fund it themselves.
President Bush devolved the responsibility of funding the execution of this act from the federal government to the states.
