Lexington: General Thomas GAge sends a large force to seize colonial military supplied in the town of concord. The militia (Minutemen) of Lexington assembles on the village green to face the British and is forced to retreat.
Concord: British destroy some military supplies. British soldiers are attacked by hundreds of militiamen firing at them from behind stone walls.
