Description:

Also called the Intolerable Acts
- Port Act: closes the port of Boston, prohibiting trade in and out of the Harbor until the destroyed tea is paid for
- Massachusetts Government Act: reduces the power of the Massachusetts legislature while increasing that of the royal governor
- Administration of Justice Act: allows royal officials accused of crimes to be tried in Great Britain instead of in the colonies
- expand the Quartering Act to enable British troops to be quarried in private homes (applied to all colonies)
