The Republic of Turkey has been shaken by a huge coup d'état, Turkish General Yusuf al-Öztürk having Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the Turkish Prime Minister, shot and killed in a public execution. As a result, General Yusuf al-Öztürk has declares himself Turkey's new prime minister, severely altering the Turkish constitution to that of a Socialist state. It's unknown where Yusuf al-Öztürk received the resources to cause such an overthrow, but it's rumored that the Soviet Union had a lot to do with the regime change in Ankara.
"Let the ruling classes tremble at a proletarian revolution!" Öztürk was quoted as saying during a speech before Atatürk's execution, "The workers of the world have nothing to lose, except their chains! They have a world to win!"
