Description:

After the Boston Tea Party, Parliament passed four acts to force Massachusetts to pay for the tea and to submit to imperial authority. Boston Harbor got closed to shipping, and most town meetings were prohibited. Patriot leaders throughout the colonies called it "Intolerable and rallied support.
