nov 1, 1888 - Thomas Eddison invented the Kinetoscope.
Description:
The kinetoscope was 18in x 27in x 4ft high. By 1891 it had 35mm film. It worked by wrapping the film around spools which functioned with a motor. Light would shine through from a lamp which projected on the film. The Kinetoscope could only be used by one person at a time, they would look through an eye hole at the top. This was a very important event as it proved how the invention was limited to it's usability, this was because of it size, non-ability to move and that only one person could use it at a time. This was a significant invention, because it allowed others to improve it and develop several other inventions similar to the Kinetoscope.
