The Texas Revolution was a rebellion of colonists from the United States and Tejanos in putting up armed resistance to the centralist government of Mexico. This led to many arguments and trying to pass new acts which the Compromise of 1850 dealt by making California join the Union as a free state and Texas joined as a slave state which angered people.
