In 1587 Queen Mary of Scots was executed under Queen Elizabeth’s orders, for treason of the highest court, conspiracy. After 19 years of being imprisoned, the Queen finally decided to execute her. She was originally imprisoned for coming to Elizabeth for Protection, but Queen Elizabeth as a chance for to throw an uprising. So she threw he in jail, and after 19 years Elizabeth was certain of it and sentenced her to death.
