Description:

While this act created relief for the East India Company, who was deeply in debt, this act gave them a government loan. With that, the government canceled the import duties on tea. Radical Patriots accused the British ministry of bring Americans with the cheaper East India Company's tea. Merchants joined the protest because the East India wholesalers from the trade's profit.
