jan 1, 1969 - LOGIN and node-to-node The first ARPAnet message is sent and it read "LOGIN". The message was delivered from a UCLA lab computer to a lab computer in Stanford. Despite the small size of the message it still crashed the ARPAnet and the Stanford computer only recieved the first two letters.
