Description:

This memorial shows two sculptures featuring silhouettes and sculptures of both King and Robert F. Kennedy reaching out to each other.
The powerful sculpture, designed by Greg Perry, honors King and Kennedy, two important American figures who both advocated for civil rights. Kennedy gave a famous speech in this park the night that King was murdered, two months before his own assassination in June 1968.
