Description:

These were punishments given by British Parliament to punish the colonists for the Boston tea party and Boston massacre. They were meant to enforce British power Boston

The Port Bill act closed Boston's harbour.

The Massachusetts Government Act revoked colony’s charter of 1691, reducing it to the level of a crown colony, and forbade town meetings without approval.

The Administration of Justice Act, allowed British Officials to go to England or another colony for trial. The fourth Act included new arrangements for housing British troops in occupied American dwellings.
