Description:

Lithography was invented by Alois Senefelder and was recognised that it's production can creat high quality prints. This technique was developed in such a way that it was made to repel the ink from paper, selected manually where needed which resulted in a clear and sharp printing. Through its beginning it was mostly used by a small segment of artists to produce their prints but later on in history it became very popular in the United states and was the commonly used method.
