jun 9, 1241 - Korea develops Metal Moveable Type

Description:

The woodblock printing had now become very outdated and now movable metal printing type had become very popular. This was another step forward in the printmaking history as it now evolved the woodblock printing and removing its major disadvantage which was how tiring and time-consuming it was. Previously a book would have to be printed one at a time but now with the movable metal type it was a lot easier and faster to print our books and it was no longer a luxury to own books.
